Located near the western shores of Lake Phalen just 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul, the Minnesota Humanities Center is a restored architectural landmark. Renovated in 1996, the facility serves as a home to the Humanities Center's community humanities programs. The building is also available for rental to other groups, providing a beautiful setting and relaxing accommodations for meetings, conferences, and retreats. All meeting rooms and hotel rooms are equipped with high speed wireless Internet access.
The conference center also provides fine dining experiences. On-site chefs prepare meals and special event offerings that have clients returning again and again. The center employs a dedicated conference services staff who will help to make your event well-coordinated and stress-free. For those interested in retreats or conferences for out-of-town guests, the conference center has 15 beautifully furnished hotel rooms with private baths. The center is smoke-free, ADA compliant and has free parking for guests.
