Early Literacy Workshop

The Minnesota Humanities Center offers Early Literacy Workshops for educators working with parents and children on developing early literacy skills. Workshops are offered about specific topics of interest to literacy professionals. Topics chosen include both those specific to every day literacy instruction and those that can expand educators' understanding of their work in this area.

The workshops are typically held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The registration fee for each workshop session is $50.00.

This program began in 2003 and previous topics have included the following: Storytelling, Literacy and Play, Dance and Movement, Writing with Pictures, and Working with ELL (English Language Learner) parents. Check the events page for upcoming Early Literacy Workshop sessions.
